Zeeland City is one of the city of Ottawa County, Michigan, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. It is home to over 5805 people (2000 census). Its population was estimated at 5448 in July 2008, It is the 170th most populous in the U.S. state of Michigan. It covers total area of 3.02 mi˛ (7.82 sq km), of which, 3.01 square miles (7.8 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 242nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Michigan.

As of the census of 2000, there were 5805 people, 2283 households, and 1491 families residing in the city. The population density was 1927.7 people per square mile (744.29/km˛), it is 150th most densely populated city in Michigan.
