Zachary City is a city located in the East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, United States. As of 2000 the population was 11275. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 14252, It is the 44th most populous in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It has total area of 23.76 mi˛ (61.54 sq km), of which, 23.73 square miles (61.46 sq km) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, it is the 18th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 11275 people in the city, organized into 400 households, and 290 families living in the city.
