Yreka City is a one of the Siskiyou County, California, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 7290 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 7368, It is the 515th largest by population in the U.S. state of California. The city encompasses an area of 10.04 miē (26 kmē ), of which, 9.98 square miles (25.85 kmē) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 kmē) of it is water, making it California's 333rd largest by total area.
