Yorktown Town is a town located in the Delaware County, Indiana, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 4785 inhabitants. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 8523, making it the 123rd most populous in Indiana. It covers total area of 3.59 square miles (9.3 square kilometre), of which, 3.53 square miles (9.14 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 127th largest by area in the U.S. state of Indiana.
