It is the 40th largest in terms of population. It is spread over 2.63 sq mi (6.81 sq km), of which, 2.6 square miles (6.73 sq km ) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 sq km) of it is water, it is the 24th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Maine.
