Wyoming Town is one of the town of Kent County, Delaware, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 1141. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 1410, It is Delaware's 43rd largest by population . The town encompasses an area of 0.69 square miles (1.79 kmē ), of which, 0.68 square miles (1.76 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, making it the 46th largest by size in Delaware. It is ranks 20 in the size of its inland waterways in Delaware.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 1141 residents, 448 households, and 316 families in the town. The population density was 1690 people per square mile (652.51/kmē), making its Delaware's 24th most densely populated town. In the town the population was distributed as follows: 25% under the age of 18, 7.9% from 18 to 24, 31.4% from 25 to 44, 22.8% from 45 to 64, and 13% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 99.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.8 males. The median age was 37.3 years, the median age of male residents at 36.3 and the median age of female residents at 38.6. The racial makeup of the town was 79.49% White, 13.32% Black or African American, 0.09% American Indian, 3.86% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 2.72% from two or more races and 0.53% Other races.
