Wyoming County is a United States county located in the United States of Pennsylvania. In 2000, county's population was 28080 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 27759, making it the eighth least populous county in Pennsylvania. It covers total area of 404.79 sq mi (1048.4 kmē), of which, 397.2 square miles (1028.74 kmē) of it is land and 7.59 square miles (19.66 kmē) of it is water, it is the 13th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 27759, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 27148 White, 237 Black or African American, 58 American Indian, 129 Asian, 2 Native Hawaiian, and 185 from two or more races.
