Wyandot County is a county in the United States of Ohio. The population of county in 2000 stood at 22908 as per the Census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 22354, It is Ohio's seventh least populous county. It is spread over 407.62 square miles (1055.73 sq km), of which, 405.61 square miles (1050.53 sq km ) of it is land and 2.01 square miles (5.21 sq km) of it is water, making it the 12th smallest by size in Ohio.

As of the census of 2000, there were 22908 people in the county, organized into 8882 households, and 6269 families living in the county. The population density was 56.5 people per square mile (21.81/kmē), it is Ohio's ninth least densely populated county. There were 9324 housing units at an average density of 23 per square mile (8.88/kmē). The average household size was 2.53 and the average family size was 3.03. In the county the population is diverse age-wise, with 25.8% under the age of 18, 8.2% from 18 to 24, 27.9% from 25 to 44, 22.7% from 45 to 64, and 15.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 95.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.5 males. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 22354, The racial makeup of the county was 21924 White, 126 Black or African American, 22 American Indian, 149 Asian, 1 Native Hawaiian, and 132 from two or more races.
