In 2000, census designated place's population was 6656 inhabitants. It is the 237th most populous in the U.S. state of Ohio. The census designated place comprises an area of 11.78 sq mi (30.51 kmē), of which, 11.69 square miles (30.28 kmē) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 kmē) of it is water, it is the 67th largest by area in the U.S. state of Ohio.
