Wooster City is a city in the Wayne County, Ohio, United States. The population of the city was 24811 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 26212, making it Ohio's 59th largest. The city extends throughout a territory of 14.39 mi˛ (37.27 sq km ), of which, 14.37 square miles (37.22 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, making it Ohio's 55th largest by total area.
