Woodruff County is a county in the United States of Arkansas. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Woodruff County is home to 8741 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 7439, making it Arkansas's second smallest county. The county extends throughout a territory of 594.05 sq mi (1538.58 sq km ), of which, 586.56 square miles (1519.18 sq km) of it is land and 7.49 square miles (19.4 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 13th smallest by total area in Arkansas.
