Woodmont Borough is one of the borough of New Haven County, Connecticut, located towards the Northeastern Region (New England) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 1711. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1771, It is the 30th smallest in terms of population. It covers total area of 0.98 mi˛ (2.54 sq km), of which, 0.28 square miles (0.73 sq km) of it is land and 0.7 square miles (1.81 sq km) of it is water, it is the eighth smallest by area in the U.S. state of Connecticut.

The population density was 6156.7 people per square mile (2377.12/km˛), it is the fourth most densely populated borough in the U.S. state of Connecticut. There were 817 housing units at an average density of 2917.9 per square mile (1126.61/km˛). The average household size was 2.25 persons, and the average family size was 2.91 persons. In the Woodmont Borough, 19.5% of the population was under the age of 18, 5.8% were 18 to 24, 33% were 25 to 44, 27.8% were 45 to 64, and 13.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.7 males.
