Woodland City is a city located in the Cowlitz and Clark counties, Washington, United States. In 2000, city's population was 3780 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 4843, It is the 199th largest by population in the U.S. state of Washington. It is spread over 2.6 mi˛ (6.73 square kilometre), of which, 2.51 square miles (6.5 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 287th largest by area in the U.S. state of Washington.

The population density was 1508.9 people per square mile (582.59/km˛), it would be the 189th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Washington. The population's age distribution was 29.3% under the age of 18, 9.4% from 18 to 24, 29.2% from 25 to 44, 18.5% from 45 to 64, and 13.7% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 96.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.5 males. The median age was 32.8 years, The median age of males was 31.2 years, for females the median age was 34.3 years. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 93.36% White, 0.34% Black or African American, 0.93% American Indian, 0.45% Asian, 0.11% Native Hawaiian, 1.98% from two or more races and 2.83% Other races.
