Woodinville City is a United States city located in the King County, Washington, United States. Woodinville City had an official population of 9194 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 11240, It is the 106th most populous in the U.S. state of Washington. The city comprises an area of 5.66 sq mi (14.66 kmē), of which, 5.64 square miles (14.61 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, it is the 168th largest by area in the U.S. state of Washington.

As of the census of 2000, there were 9194 people, 3512 households, and 2412 families living in the city. The population density was 1630 people per square mile (629.35/kmē), giving it the 169th most densely populated city among the Washington. There were 3592 housing units at an average density of 636.9 per square mile (245.91/kmē). The average household size was 2.61 and the average family size was 3.15. In the city the population was distributed as follows: 26.6% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 32.5% from 25 to 44, 24.1% from 45 to 64, and 8.7% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 96.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.2 males. The racial makeup of the city was 7724 White, 84 Black or African American, 47 American Indian, 674 Asian, 23 Native Hawaiian, 302 from two or more races and 340 Ohter races.
