Winter Village is a one of the Sawyer County, Wisconsin, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 344 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 339, It is 80th least populous in Wisconsin. The city extends throughout a territory of 0.8 mi˛ (2.07 sq km ), makes it the 82nd smallest by total area in Wisconsin.

The population density was 430.9 people per square mile (166.37/km˛), making it the 150th least densely populated city in Wisconsin. There were 200 housing units at an average density of 250 per square mile (96.53/km˛). It has an average household size was 2.1 persons, and the average family size was 2.92 persons. The population's age distribution was 24.1% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 24.7% from 25 to 44, 20.9% from 45 to 64, and 23.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 111 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 102.3 males. The median age was 40.3 years, The median age of males was 38.6 years, for females the median age was 45.1 years. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 96.51% White, 0.58% Black or African American, 2.03% American Indian, 0% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 0.58% from two or more races and 0.29% Other races.
