Winsted City is a one of the McLeod County, Minnesota, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 2094. The July 2008 population estimate is 2418, It is the 234th most populous in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The city spans an area of 1.35 square miles (3.5 square kilometre), it is the 408th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
