Winnebago County, Iowa is a county located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Winnebago County is home to 11723 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 10901, giving it the 30th smallest population among Iowa's county. Its area is just over 401.57 miē (1040.06 kmē), of which, 400.47 square miles (1037.21 kmē) of it is land and 1.1 square miles (2.85 kmē) of it is water, makes it the second smallest by total area in Iowa.

In the county Population was distributed with 24.1% under the age of 18, 9.8% from 18 to 24, 24.1% from 25 to 44, 23.1% from 45 to 64, and 18.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 95.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.9 males. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 10901, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 10681 White, 28 Black or African American, 32 American Indian, 83 Asian, 1 Native Hawaiian, and 76 from two or more races.
