Winnebago City is a city located in Faribault County, Minnesota, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. It is home to over 1487 people (2000 census). The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 1335, It is the 276th largest in terms of population. It covers total area of 2.21 mi˛ (5.72 square kilometre), of which, 2.2 square miles (5.7 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 288th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
