Winfield City is a city in the Marion and Fayette counties, Alabama, United States. Winfield City had an official population of 4540 in 2000. In July 2008, its estimated population was 4618, making it the 115th most populous in Alabama. The city encompasses an area of 16.27 sq mi (42.14 kmē ), of which, 16.22 square miles (42.01 kmē) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 kmē) of it is water, it is the 64th largest in terms of geographical size.
