Wildwood City is a city located in the Sumter County, Florida, United States. In 2000, the population was 3924. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 3889, It is the 485th most populous in the U.S. state of Florida. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.17 square miles (13.39 sq km), it is the 323rd largest in terms of geographical size.
