Wiggins City is a city located in Stone County, Mississippi, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. Wiggins City had an official population of 3849 in 2000. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 4901, It is the 79th largest by population in the U.S. state of Mississippi. It is spread over 11.27 mi˛ (29.19 square kilometre), of which, 10.76 square miles (27.87 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.51 square miles (1.32 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 54th largest by total area in Mississippi. It is ranks 20 in the size of its inland waterways in Mississippi.

The population density was 357.8 people per square mile (138.15/km˛), it would be the 100th least densely populated city in the U.S. state of Mississippi. For every 100 females there were 88.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 82.4 males.
