It is the 99th largest by population in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. The census designated place spans an area of 4.05 sq mi (10.49 sq km), of which, 3.64 square miles (9.43 sq km) of it is land and 0.41 square miles (1.06 sq km) of it is water, making it the 130th largest by size in Massachusetts.
