The July 2008 population estimate is 1697, It is 699th most populous in Texas. It has total area of 2.11 sq mi (5.46 kmē), of which, 2.1 square miles (5.44 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 802nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Texas.
