White Mountain City is one of the city of Nome Census Area, Alaska, located towards the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. In 2000, the population was 203. Its population was estimated at 203 in July 2008, It is Alaska's 188th largest by population . The city encompasses an area of 2.03 sq mi (5.26 kmē ), of which, 1.78 square miles (4.61 kmē) of it is land and 0.24 square miles (0.62 kmē) of it is water, making it the 29th smallest by size in Alaska.

As of the census of 2000, there were 203 residents, 69 households, and 47 families in the city. The population density was 113.7 people per square mile (43.9/kmē), it is Alaska's 64th most densely populated city. There were 75 housing units at an average density of 42.1 per square mile (16.25/kmē). The average household size was 2.94 people, and the average family size was 3.55 people.
