According to the 2000 census it had a population of 2133 inhabitants. making it Massachusetts's 53rd smallest. The census designated place extends throughout a territory of 1.32 square miles (3.42 kmē ), of which, 1.17 square miles (3.03 kmē) of it is land and 0.15 square miles (0.39 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 13th smallest by total area in Massachusetts.
