Wheaton City is a city located in DuPage County, Illinois, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. It is home to over 55416 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 54465, It is the 22nd largest by population in the U.S. state of Illinois. The city comprises an area of 11.27 miē (29.19 kmē), of which, 11.22 square miles (29.06 kmē) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 kmē) of it is water, it is the 61st largest by area in the U.S. state of Illinois.
