Westminster City is one of the city of Adams and Jefferson counties, Colorado, located towards the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 100940 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 107056 in July 2008, It is Colorado's eighth largest by population . The city extends throughout a territory of 32.86 square miles (85.11 square kilometre ), of which, 31.51 square miles (81.61 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.36 square miles (3.52 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 16th largest by total area in Colorado. It is ranks second in the size of its inland waterways in Colorado.
