West Point City, Utah

West Point City is one of the city of Davis County, Utah, located towards the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. In 2000, the population was 6033. In July 2008, its estimated population was 9001, It is the 66th most populous in the U.S. state of Utah. Its area is just over 7.22 sq mi (18.7 square kilometre), of which, 7.18 square miles (18.6 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 99th largest by area in the U.S. state of Utah.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 6033 residents, 1645 households, and 1495 families in the city. The population density was 840.2 people per square mile (324.4/kmē), it would be the 106th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Utah. There were 1699 housing units at an average density of 236.6 per square mile (91.35/kmē). The average household size was 3.67 people, and the average family size was 3.86 people. In the city the population was spread out, with 38.3% under the age of 18, 9.9% from 18 to 24, 30% from 25 to 44, 17% from 45 to 64, and 4.9% who were 65 or older. The median age is 26.8 years, the median age of male residents at 25.6 and the median age of female residents at 28. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 5715 White, 25 Black or African American, 32 American Indian, 61 Asian, 2 Native Hawaiian, 104 from two or more races and 94 Ohter races.
