West Point City is one of the city of Troup and Harris counties, Georgia, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 3382 as per the Census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 3364, It is the 182nd largest by population in the U.S. state of Georgia. The city comprises an area of 4.55 sq mi (11.78 square kilometre), of which, 4.43 square miles (11.47 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 185th largest by area in the U.S. state of Georgia.
