West New York Town is a United States town located in the Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 45768 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 46472, It is the 23rd largest in terms of population. The town spans an area of 1.32 mi˛ (3.42 square kilometre), of which, 1.02 square miles (2.64 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.31 square miles (0.8 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 130th smallest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 45768 people, 457 households, and 284 families residing in the town. The population density was 44995.1 people per square mile (17372.71/km˛), giving it the third most densely populated town among the New Jersey.
