West Long Branch Borough is a borough located in the Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 8258 inhabitants. The borough's estimated population as of July 2008 was 8339, It is the 196th largest in terms of population. The borough comprises an area of 2.91 miē (7.54 kmē), of which, 2.89 square miles (7.49 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, it is the 199th largest in terms of geographical size.
