West Dennis Cdp is a census designated place located in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, in the Northeastern Region (New England) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 2570. It is the 69th least populous in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the census designated place has a total area of 4.2 square miles (10.88 square kilometre), of which, 3.29 square miles (8.52 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.91 square miles (2.36 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 124th largest by area in the U.S. state of Massachusetts.

As of the census of 2000, there were 2570 people, 1279 households, and 698 families residing in the census designated place. The population density was 781.3 people per square mile (301.66/kmē), it would be the 53rd least densely populated census designated place in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. There were 2733 housing units at an average density of 830.7 per square mile (320.74/kmē). The average household size was 1.96 and the average family size was 2.53.
