West Columbia City, South Carolina is a city of the Lexington County, South Carolina, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 13064 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 13914, It is 30th most populous in South Carolina. The city comprises an area of 6.28 sq mi (16.27 sq km), of which, 6.07 square miles (15.72 sq km) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 sq km) of it is water, making it South Carolina's 83rd largest by total area.
