West Chester Borough, Chester County, Pennsylvania is a borough located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 17861 inhabitants. The borough's estimated population as of July 2008 was 18315, It is 45th most populous in Pennsylvania. Its area is just over 1.84 square miles (4.77 kmē), making it Pennsylvania's 420th largest by total area.
