It is the 30th least populous in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. The census designated place comprises an area of 1.74 mi˛ (4.51 sq km), of which, 1.24 square miles (3.21 sq km) of it is land and 0.51 square miles (1.32 sq km) of it is water, it is the 32nd smallest by area in the U.S. state of Massachusetts.
