West Branch City is a city located in Ogemaw County, Michigan, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 1926. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 1816, It is the 326th largest in terms of population. The city spans an area of 1.33 mi˛ (3.44 sq km), it is the 401st largest in terms of geographical size.
