West Allis City is a city located in the Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. As of 2000 the population was 61254. In July 2008, its estimated population was 59416, making it Wisconsin's tenth largest. The city extends throughout a territory of 11.37 mi˛ (29.45 square kilometre ), of which, 11.35 square miles (29.4 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 54th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 61254 people, 76 households, and 48 families residing in the city. The population density was 5397.6 people per square mile (2084.03/km˛), it is fourth most densely populated city in Wisconsin. There were 28708 housing units at an average density of 2529.3 per square mile (976.57/km˛). The average household size was 2.19 persons, and the average family size was 2.92 persons. In the West Allis City, 21.5% of the population was under the age of 18, 8.4% were 18 to 24, 32.3% were 25 to 44, 20.5% were 45 to 64, and 17.2% who were 65 or older.
