Wells City, Faribault County, Minnesota is a city located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. Wells City had an official population of 2494 in 2000. The July 2008 population estimate is 2346, giving it the 209th largest population among Minnesota. It is spread over 1.35 mi˛ (3.5 square kilometre), making it Minnesota's 406th largest by total area.
