Weiser City is one of the city of Washington County, Idaho, located towards the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 5343 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 5290 in July 2008, making it Idaho's 29th largest. The city encompasses an area of 2.35 sq mi (6.09 kmē ), of which, 2.34 square miles (6.06 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 46th largest by total area among Idaho.

As of the census of 2000, there were 5343 people, 2018 households, and 1369 families residing in the city. The population density was 2280.5 people per square mile (880.51/kmē), it is 31st most densely populated city in Idaho. There were 2207 housing units at an average density of 943.2 per square mile (364.17/kmē). The average household size was 2.58 persons, and the average family size was 3.19 persons. In the city the population is diverse age-wise, with 28.3% under the age of 18, 9.2% from 18 to 24, 24.1% from 25 to 44, 19.9% from 45 to 64, and 18.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 90.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.6 males. The median age is 35.9 years, The median age of males was 33.1 years, for females the median age was 38.1 years. The racial makeup of the city was 4335 White, 4 Black or African American, 43 American Indian, 64 Asian, 7 Native Hawaiian, 146 from two or more races and 744 Ohter races.
