Webster County is a county located in the United States of Nebraska. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Webster County is home to 4061 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 3508, It is the 30th least populous county in the U.S. state of Nebraska. It has total area of 575.02 mi˛ (1489.29 square kilometre), of which, 574.89 square miles (1488.96 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Nebraska's 57th largest county by total area.

The population density was 7.1 people per square mile (2.74/km˛), it is Nebraska's 57th most densely populated county. There were 1972 housing units at an average density of 3.4 per square mile (1.31/km˛). The average household size was 2.28 and the average family size was 2.89. In the county the population was distributed as follows: 23.6% under the age of 18, 4.6% from 18 to 24, 22.9% from 25 to 44, 24.6% from 45 to 64, and 24.3% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 92.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.6 males. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 3508, The racial makeup of the county was 3431 White, 6 Black or African American, 12 American Indian, 21 Asian, 3 Native Hawaiian, and 35 from two or more races.
