Weber County is a county in the United States of Utah. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 196533 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 227487, making it the fourth most populous county in Utah. Its area is just over 659.46 square miles (1707.99 sq km), of which, 575.54 square miles (1490.64 sq km) of it is land and 83.93 square miles (217.38 sq km) of it is water, making it the third smallest by size in Utah. It is ranks eighth in the size of its inland waterways in Utah.

As of the census of 2000, there were 196533 residents, 65698 households, and 49549 families in the county. The population density was 341.5 people per square mile (131.85/kmē), giving it the third most densely populated county among the Utah. There were 70454 housing units at an average density of 122.4 per square mile (47.26/kmē). The average household size was 2.95 people, and the average family size was 3.42 people. In the Weber County, 31% of the population was under the age of 18, 12.6% were 18 to 24, 27.9% were 25 to 44, 18.1% were 45 to 64, and 10.3% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 100.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98.2 males. Its population was estimated at 227487 in July 2008, The racial makeup of the county was 214477 White, 3787 Black or African American, 2163 American Indian, 3108 Asian, 474 Native Hawaiian, and 3478 from two or more races.
