Waynoka City is a city located in the Woods County, Oklahoma, United States. It is home to over 993 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 901, It is the 233rd largest by population in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The city extends throughout a territory of 0.96 mi˛ (2.49 square kilometre ), it is the 378th largest by area in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.

As of the census of 2000, there were 993 residents, 453 households, and 253 families in the city. The population density was 1034 people per square mile (399.23/km˛), it is Oklahoma's 168th most densely populated city. There were 582 housing units at an average density of 606.3 per square mile (234.09/km˛). The average household size was 2.07 and the average family size was 2.84. In the city the population was distributed as follows: 22.6% under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 22.4% from 25 to 44, 22.2% from 45 to 64, and 25.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 84.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 79.3 males. The median age of the city's population was 43.1 years, the median age of male residents at 40.4 and the median age of female residents at 47.6. The racial makeup of the city was 920 White, 23 Black or African American, 15 American Indian, Asian, Native Hawaiian, 25 from two or more races and 10 Ohter races.
