Wayne City is a one of the Wayne County, Nebraska, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 5583 as per the 2000 census data. The city encompasses an area of 2.19 square miles (5.67 square kilometre), makes it the 39th largest by total area in Nebraska.
