Waycross City is a city located in the Pierce and Ware counties, Georgia, United States. It is home to over 15333 people (2000 census). The July 2008 population estimate is 14774, It is the 50th most populous in the U.S. state of Georgia. The city has a total area of 11.71 sq mi (30.33 square kilometre), of which, 11.69 square miles (30.28 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Georgia's 67th largest by total area.
