The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 1076, It is 400th most populous in Minnesota. The city has a total area of 1.57 square miles (4.07 kmē), of which, 0.83 square miles (2.15 kmē) of it is land and 0.73 square miles (1.89 kmē) of it is water, it is the 366th largest in terms of geographical size.
