Waverly City is a one of the Coffey County, Kansas, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. It is home to over 589 people (2000 census). The city has a total area of 0.79 square miles (2.05 sq km), of which, 0.78 square miles (2.02 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 229th largest by area in the U.S. state of Kansas.
