Wauwatosa City is one of the city of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 47271 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 45004, making it Wisconsin's 14th largest. The city comprises an area of 13.24 mi˛ (34.29 sq km), it is the 45th largest by area in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.
