Wautoma City is a city located in the Waushara County, Wisconsin, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1998 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 2111, It is the 230th most populous in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The city encompasses an area of 2.54 sq mi (6.58 sq km ), of which, 2.5 square miles (6.47 sq km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 sq km) of it is water, making it the 259th largest by size in Wisconsin.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1998 people in the city, organized into 76 households, and 48 families living in the city. The population density was 800.8 people per square mile (309.19/kmē), making its Wisconsin's 314th most densely populated city. There were 877 housing units at an average density of 350.8 per square mile (135.44/kmē). The average household size was 2.2 people, and the average family size was 3.04 people.
