Waushara County is a United States county located in the United States of Wisconsin. Waushara County had an official population of 23154 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 24760, It is Wisconsin's 47th most populous county. It has total area of 637.39 mi˛ (1650.83 square kilometre), of which, 626.03 square miles (1621.41 square kilometre) of it is land and 11.36 square miles (29.42 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 19th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.

In the county Population was distributed with 23.5% under the age of 18, 6% from 18 to 24, 24.9% from 25 to 44, 26.3% from 45 to 64, and 19.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 101.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98.8 males. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 24760, The racial makeup of the county was 24106 White, 187 Black or African American, 136 American Indian, 105 Asian, 8 Native Hawaiian, and 218 from two or more races.
