Wauneta Village is a city located in the Chase County, Nebraska, United States. In 2000, the population was 625. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 546, It is the 181st largest by population in the U.S. state of Nebraska. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.76 sq mi (1.97 sq km), it is the 125th largest by area in the U.S. state of Nebraska.
